Squad Building Challenges are one of the best sources of packs and players in Ultimate Team, but completing them can quietly drain your coins. An FC 27 SBC solver works out the cheapest squad that meets every requirement, so you hand in cards you don’t need instead of buying new ones.
Why SBCs cost more than they should
Most players overspend on SBCs in three ways:
- Buying cards they already own because they didn’t check their club.
- Overshooting the rating, using an 85 where an 83 would do.
- Burning valuable players to hit chemistry, when a cheaper combination existed.
A solver fixes all three by trying thousands of combinations faster than you could check a handful.
How a good SBC solver builds a squad
FUT Snipe Club’s SBC Assistant works through the problem in this order:
- Reads the requirements straight from the SBC you have open: squad rating, chemistry, rares, number of clubs, leagues and nations, specific players, and so on.
- Looks at your club first. Duplicates and untradeable players go in before anything else, because they’re effectively free.
- Protects what matters. Players in your active squads and any you’ve locked are never used.
- Fills the gaps cheaply. If your club can’t complete it, it finds the cheapest cards on the market that fit, and shows them as a buy list.
- Checks the result against every requirement before anything happens.
Nothing is submitted until you’ve looked at the squad. You can let it fill the squad in EA’s web app for you to submit, or turn on auto-submit if you’re confident.
Ratings: the 83 vs 84 trap
Squad rating isn’t a simple average. Higher-rated players count for more, so a single card can tip a squad over the line. A solver tries combinations of cheap high-rated and very cheap low-rated cards to hit the target for the fewest coins, which is very hard to do in your head.
Chemistry without the headache
Chemistry requirements are where most manual attempts fail. A player gets chemistry points from team-mates sharing their club, league or nation, and the thresholds differ for each. A solver tracks this for every slot, so you’re not swapping players back and forth hoping the number turns green.
Spare your valuable cards
Sometimes your club could complete an SBC, but only by using a card worth far more than a cheap market alternative. FUT Snipe Club’s Spare valuable cards setting handles this: if a player in your club is worth more than a cheap card that fits (for example an 84 where an 80 will do), it uses the cheap card instead.
Doing a whole group at once
Many SBCs come in groups, like a set of upgrades or a player SBC with several squads. Auto Complete Set solves every squad in the group together, so the same player isn’t planned for two squads, and you see the total cost up front.
Keep an eye on the limits
EA limits how often you can submit SBCs in a short space of time. FUT Snipe Club tracks your SBC submissions per hour and per day and shows them under the assistant, so you don’t hit EA’s soft limit by accident.
The SBC Assistant is part of FUT Snipe Club’s Gold and Platinum plans. You can try it free for 12 hours: start your free trial, or read more on the SBC solver page.
