Yes. Sign up, install the extension and sign in: the first time you open the FC web app you get 12 hours of every Platinum feature, free and with no card. Each account and each EA account can have one trial.
Monthly renews each month and you can cancel anytime. One-time is a single payment that covers the whole FC 27 season, until FC 28 launches, with no renewals. If you'll trade for more than a few months, one-time works out much cheaper.
Yes. Monthly upgrades apply straight away; downgrades apply at your next renewal. One-time passes can be upgraded by paying the difference.
Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime; you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. One-time passes don't renew, so there's nothing to cancel.
