FC 27 autobuyer vs manual sniping: which is better?

Comparing an FC 27 autobuyer with sniping by hand: speed, profit, effort and risk, so you can decide which suits the way you play Ultimate Team.

An FC 27 autobuyer (often called a sniping bot) and manual sniping do exactly the same job: find cards listed below their value and buy them before anyone else. The difference is who does the clicking. Here’s how they compare.

Speed

Snipes last seconds. When a cheap card is listed, everyone running the same search sees it at once, and the fastest buyer wins.

  • Manual: you search, scan the results with your eyes, then click buy. Even quick players lose most of the close ones.
  • Autobuyer: the moment a card at or under your max buy appears, it buys. No scanning, no hesitation.

Winner: autobuyer, comfortably.

Volume

Profit per snipe is small, so volume matters.

  • Manual: a few hundred searches before your hand and your patience give out.
  • Autobuyer: works through searches steadily, within the limits you set, while you do something else.

Winner: autobuyer.

Pricing accuracy

This is where people lose coins. Buy a card for 900, discover it sells for 850, and you’ve lost money after tax.

  • Manual: you check prices yourself, often from a price site that might be out of date.
  • Autobuyer: a good one checks the real cheapest listings before you start and sets a max buy that guarantees your minimum profit after EA’s 5% tax. FUT Snipe Club also refuses to list below break-even.

Winner: a good autobuyer. A basic one with no pricing can be worse than doing it yourself.

Effort

  • Manual: constant attention. It’s a part-time job.
  • Autobuyer: set the filter and prices, press start, check back later. Relisting expired cards happens automatically.

Winner: autobuyer.

Risk

This is where manual sniping wins.

  • Manual: you’re a real person using the web app. EA has no reason to restrict you, beyond the occasional captcha if you search very fast.
  • Autobuyer: automation is against EA’s User Agreement, so there’s always some risk. Sensible limits, breaks and filter rotation keep it low, but never at zero. We explain this properly in is an FC 27 sniping bot safe?

Winner: manual.

Cost

  • Manual: free.
  • Autobuyer: a subscription. FUT Snipe Club starts at £5.99 a month, or one payment for the season. If it doesn’t make you more than that in coins’ worth of time, it isn’t worth it.

So which should you use?

  • Choose manual sniping if you have time, enjoy the hunt, and want zero risk to your account.
  • Choose an autobuyer if you’d rather the searching happened in the background, and you’re comfortable with the risk and willing to use it sensibly.

Many traders do both: snipe by hand during busy moments like the 6pm content drop, and let the autobuyer handle the steady grind.

Not sure yet? FUT Snipe Club has a 12-hour free trial with every feature, so you can compare it with your own manual results before paying anything.
