The FC 27 web app is where most serious Ultimate Team trading happens. It’s quicker than the console menus, it’s available on any computer, and the transfer market is the same. These FC 27 web app trading tips will help you buy cheaper, sell faster and keep more of your profit.
1. Always count the 5% tax
EA takes 5% of every sale. If you buy a card for 10,000 and sell it for 10,500, you’ve made nothing: 5% of 10,500 is 525, so you actually lose 25 coins. Work out profit as sell price × 0.95 − buy price, every time. We break the maths down in EA tax and price steps.
2. Learn the price steps
Prices on the market move in fixed steps: 50-coin steps up to 1,000, then 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 as prices rise. Listing at an odd number isn’t possible, and undercutting by “one step” means different amounts at different prices. Knowing the steps stops you underpricing by mistake.
3. Trade around 6pm UK
New content and SBCs land at 6pm UK time most days. Prices for cards that new SBCs need spike, and plenty of people list cheaply in a rush. It’s the busiest, most profitable window of the day (more on the 6pm drop).
4. Price from the market, not from memory
Price sites are a good guide, but the real price is whatever the cheapest cards are listed at right now. Before buying or selling, search the card and check the lowest few Buy Now prices.
5. Sell one step under the cheapest listing
If you want a card to sell, list it one price step below the current cheapest. It’ll be first in the list for anyone searching. Listing at the same price as five others means waiting your turn.
6. Watch the price range
Every card has a minimum and maximum price EA allows. Cards stuck near the minimum rarely drop further, which makes them safer buys. Cards at the maximum are risky: they often fall, and buying at max price can look like coin trading to EA.
7. Don’t over-search
The web app will throw a captcha, or briefly block the market, if you search very quickly for a long time. Take breaks, vary your filters, and spread your trading across the day. It’s better for your account and you’ll make fewer mistakes.
8. Follow the SBC market
When a big SBC lands, the cards it needs (specific leagues, nations or ratings) rise. Cards it doesn’t need often fall as people sell to fund it. Being on the right side of that swing is where the biggest trades are.
9. Keep your transfer list moving
Expired cards don’t earn anything. Relist them, drop the price a step if they keep expiring, and move anything that’s clearly not selling to your club so you have room for new buys.
10. Track what works
Write down (or let a tool record) which filters and cards made you money. After a week you’ll see clear patterns, and you can stop wasting time on the ones that don’t.
Let the web app do the repetitive part
Most of these tips come down to repetition: check prices, search, buy, list, relist. That’s exactly the part FUT Snipe Club automates inside the web app, with pricing, break-even protection, relisting and per-filter stats built in. Try it free for 12 hours: start your free trial.
