FC 27 prices move in a rhythm. The same card can cost noticeably different amounts depending on the time of day and the day of the week. Time your trades around that rhythm and you make more from every card without any extra risk.
The daily cycle
- 6pm UK: new content, SBCs and promos drop. Demand spikes for anything new SBCs need, and pack openings add supply of everything else. See the 6pm content drop.
- Evenings: the most players are online. Cards sell fastest, and prices on popular players are often at their highest.
- Late night and early morning: few buyers, so prices dip and more cards expire unsold. It’s often a good time to buy.
- During the day: steady, with fewer sudden moves.
Rule of thumb: buy late at night or in the morning, and sell in the evening.
The weekly cycle
- When weekly rewards land: players open reward packs and sell what they get. More supply means lower prices, a good time to buy.
- Before the weekend: players get their squads ready for competitive games, so popular meta players often rise.
- Weekend evenings: lots of buyers. Good for selling meta players.
- Midweek: often the quietest days, which suits buying fodder and investments.
Listing duration
When you list a card, the duration decides when it’s most visible to buyers. Most people search sorted by newest or cheapest, so a fresh listing at the lowest price sells fastest. A one-hour listing in the evening is usually the quickest way to sell.
What this means for sniping
Snipers profit when other people list cards too cheaply, and that happens most when lots of people are selling in a hurry:
- right after reward packs are opened;
- during promo launches, when people sell to fund packs;
- late in the evening, when people dump cards before logging off.
These are the busiest times to run your filters. FUT Snipe Club’s filter stats show snipes and profit per filter over 1, 3 or 7 days, so you can see which hours work best for your filters.
Always check the live price
Timing is a guide, not a rule. A sudden SBC can send a card up at 3am. Before you buy or list, check the real cheapest Buy Now price on the market, not a figure from a website that may be out of date. FUT Snipe Club’s price check does this for you and works out a max buy that leaves profit after the 5% tax.
